The everyday work of a community arts centre.
From 2023 to 2025 I was on the Old Diorama Arts Centre's roster of photographers. I documented the activities and events that make up the centre's community work, including the One Roof Homelessness Art Festival, a Ukrainian women's support group, arts and dance classes, community events and Christmas parties.

The approach
Consent was a conversation.
Consent was talked through before every shoot. Notices went up ahead of each event, so everyone knew I was the official photographer, and consent was sought both for me to be there and for the photographs to be taken. Every photograph shown here was approved for public use.
